Since 1998, Dr. Stefan Wolff has been an associate lecturer for Global Supply Chain Management at the Logistics Department of the Technical University of Berlin. The Logistics Department of the TUB is part of the Institute of Technology und Management in the Department of Economy and Management. It is Europe's largest research and teaching institution for logistics with more than 200 students per term. The Technical University of Berlin is Germany's largest technical university.
Associations and Initiatives
4flow is active member in many associations and organizations.
Dr. Stefan Wolff, CEO of 4flow, is a member of the executive board of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL). Furthermore, Andreas Mager, Vice President at 4flow, is a member of the research council. The BVL is a neutral platform for managers of logistics. It counts approximately 9,000 members from the management of industry, commerce, services and science. The BVL makes suggestions and gives impulses for intersectoral and trend-setting logistic concepts to assure the competitiveness of companies all over the world.
Dr. Wolff is a charter member of the Council of Logistics Management´s (CLM) Roundtable, Germany. Since January 2005 this organization has been called Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
CSCMP is a non-profit organization which operates world-wide. Organizing meetings, workshops and professional support, it makes it possible to establish world-wide, innovative, logistics knowledge.
Efficient Consumer Response (ECR) Europe was founded in 1994 as an initiative for collaboration between manufacturers and retailers. ECR is committed to making the grocery sector as a whole more responsive to consumer demand and to promoting the removal of unnecessary costs from the supply chain.
4flow and 15 well-known European companies from the retail and consumer goods industry have joined together in the ECR Europe “Collaborative Inventory Optimization” project to identify new approaches on how to collaboratively decrease inventory levels in supply chains. Companies such as ASDA, Barilla, Carrefour, Colgate-Palmolive, Henkel, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Foods, L’Oréal, Metro, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, Sainsbury and Unilever are taking part in this project.
