When is the best time to apply?

As a result of our continual growth, we look forward to receiving your application at any time, when open positions are posted. Closing dates for applications exist only if stated explicitly in the job advertisement.

What is the application process like at 4flow ? Are there long waiting periods ?

First, we look forward to receiving your complete and meaningful application, with full documentation via email (cover letter with CV, photo and adequate references). Please be aware to merge your attachments into one file. Once we have obtained your documents, we will get back to you within a few days. If your application arouses our interest, we will invite you to a day in Berlin. On that day, you will have the opportunity to get to know 4flow intensely in various situations – and we will get to know you, of course!

What do the first weeks working for 4flow look like ? 

First, you settle in, you get to know new colleagues and become acquainted with the 4flow culture. In discussions and/or during presentations you become familiar with the different fields. During the first extensive conversation with your executive you will discuss and plan your orientation. Thereby, we deploy the training-on-the-job principle, which means that by assuming responsibility you rapidly become a fully-fledged member of the team. Through the specific structure of the team we assure that experienced colleagues can support and coach you.

What happens with my travel costs to Berlin?

Naturally, we will compensate you for your travel costs: you should travel by train (2nd class) and use public transportation. Please clarify in advance should an overnight stay or flight be necessary.

Is there a dress-code at 4flow?

The general dress-code at flow is ‘Business casual’. Except for official occasions and customer contact where ‘business clothing’ is necessary. In the interview, of course, you present yourself as favorable, as possible (as in other companies, too).

To which extent will I work outside of the Berlin Head Quarter?

That depends. Due to our close contact with the client our consultants operate three to four days weekly at the clients site. Our developers, however, work in the 4flow offices in Berlin for the most part. Exceptions are normally Fridays (‘office day’), trainings, recruiting activities and some other dates.

How long will a consulting project take on average? And how big are the teams?

The duration of a consulting project and the size of the team depend on several factors: among other things on the amplitude and complexity of the project. The average duration of a project is about 4 to 5 months, the average team size between 3 and 5 people.

Is there the opportunity to do a doctorate or an MBA?

In certain cases, 4flow approves and supports your further education in terms of a doctorate or an MBA.
