4flow consulting offers consulting services to design and customize your management information systems (MIS) and logistics controlling.
The Challenge
Instruments currently used do not sufficiently help us to see the full impact of decisions. Limited early detection is possible only to a degree. This information gap can be closed by developing a management information system.
Our Approach
At first, the functionality and the content of such an MIS or logistics controlling is defined, working together with the users in the context of a customer-oriented controlling. For this, benchmarks that focus on the strategic targets have to be developed.
The next step is to translate the demand for information and the required functionalities of the users into modules of the MIS or the logistics controlling system, taking into account the previously defined targets. A discussion of the cause-and-effect-chain between the benchmarks is a special focus in this phase.

In the third step these modules can be used as prototypes to support professional discussions about the functionalities and content of the system between providers and users of the information.
The fourth step of the project focuses on the implementation of the system, if necessary, together with an external provider.
In the fifth step, precise objectives are defined and entered in cooperation with the respective departments and entered. The degree of realization of the objectives is measured, so that an effective performance controlling and an early warning system can be set up.
